WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
The problem is to create audience segments that can be used when targeting a campaign. These audiences need to be compared to other audiences against their performance data as well as their attributes. The marketer would be able to look at the pieces of each audience and compare them to a total audience as well as against other audiences.
WHAT IS THE GOAL?
The goal of this project was to create a back end Marketing admin program for a user to define a target segment for their Marketing Campaign.
WHO IS THE USER?
The marketing administrators defining targeting segments based on customer data and behaviors. The module is used to create the target audience for the marketing campaign at hand.
WHAT IS THE PROCESS/SOLUTION?
This process began with basic wire-framing on how to set up the difference pieces of the problems at hand. It was evident that different parts of the module needed to be separated into different sections to maximize organization. The building and performance pieces of the audience module are the beginning steps and therefore should be grouped together. Following the building of the audience, the marketer can use the extra tools created within this module including geographic tools, comparison tools, and recommendation tools. Each of these will allow a marketer to easily create their audiences on the fly to maximize efficiency and defining the best segments for the campaigns at hand.
